If you are a design enthusiast and enjoy working on the interiors of your own home but need a guide to improving your design skills; this series of Workshops will offer you the opportunity to acquire a broader knowledge of the fundamental elements of interior design. It will equip you with the confidence to create new or remodel existing spaces in your own home. The Interior Design Workshops will be at The Space at Caro on six consecutive Wednesdays from 17 January 2024 from 10.00am until 4.00pm for a maximum of eight people. The Workshops will cover all aspects of interiors including space planning, lighting, soft furnishings, colours, materials, finishes, styling and an introduction to local stockists and specialists. Each week there will be a House Doctor session for immediate advice on current or imminent projects. By completing a series of very simple assignments the course will provide you with inspiration and skills for you to develop your own individual style and reflect your ideas.Sarah Lyall is a fully qualified interior designer, with a Somerset based practice, who will lead the Workshops. Over the six weeks there will be presentations from industry experts including The Fabric Barn, Craigie Woodworks, Fired Earth, Hana & George, and Damask Designs.
